What is the NY ERA? The New York State Constitution does not protect all of us.​ The Equal Rights Amendment will protect New Yorkers from discrimination based on one's: age, disability, pregnancy and pregnancy outcome, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, national origin​.
